Suspected ETA member arrested in Girona

The suspect was traveling by train from Paris carrying a gun and was arrested as part of a routine police control operation.
National police arrested a suspected ETA member in Port Bau (Girona) this morning. According to the police version he was carrying a gun.
According to the Department of the Interior, the detention was carried out as part of a routine police control operation in a train coming from France.
Police sources inform that the arrested could be Faustino Marcos, 38 year old, who had been missing since 2002.
Faustino Marcos was born in 1971 inn Donostia-San Sebastian (Gipuzkoa). The same sources say that in the moment of the arrest he was carrying a 38 caliber Smith-Wesson revolver, 13 cartridges, three false Spanish Ids, two false French IDs, a portable computer, five pendrives, two external hard disks, CDs and DVDs and 6,000 euros.
The alleged ETA member Iker Aguirre Bernadal was arrested in similar conditions in January 2007.
