The Basque town of Agurain celebrates Araba Euskaraz 2010 under the slogan "Gogoz biziz". This year, Lautada Ikastola hosts this festival of Euskara (Basque language).

The Basque town of Salvatierra/Agurain hosts the 30th edition of Araba Euskaraz, the festival of Basque schools in Alava under the slogan "Gogoz Biziz".

The aim of this festival is to gather funds in order to provide economic needs and an infrastructure for the ikastola that hosts Araba Euskaraz each year.

This edition has been organized by Lautada Ikastola. There is a 3 kilometer route with four areas offering several activities for people of all ages and tastes.

Araba Euskaraz 2010 is expected to be attended by the Deputy General Alava Xavier Agirre and also by the major of Agurain, Iñaki Beraza.

The logo of this edition reminds us to the one chosen 25 years ago, in 1985, which is a drawing of the route with several arrows which symbolize movement. The letters a and e can also be observed in the logo, representing Araba Euskaraz, Agurain Euskaraz.

In addition, this year''s slogan "Gogoz biziz" (Enjoy life) simbolizes the effort made by Lautada Ikastola to carry out this project. Moreover, Araba Euskaraz wants to make known the Pilgrimage Trail to Santiago in the Basque Country as this is a Jacobean year.
