British band Suede will replace Amy Winehouse in the line-up on day two of Bilbao BBK Live, Friday July 8th. Brett Anderson''s group will perform at Kobetamendi alongside Kasabian, Kaiser Chiefs, Vetusta Morla, TV on the Radio, among others.
Suede first shot to fame with songs like "Trash", "The Beautiful Ones" and "Animal Nitrate" in the 1990s as part of the UK''s Britpop movement with bands like Oasis and Blur.
The band reformed in 2010 after eight years in which the members pursued solo careers, one of the most hotly anticipated on a music scene which is always crying out for charismatic figures like Brett Anderson.
They performed at Murcia''s SOS 4.8 festival last May 7th.
According to the organisation behind BBK Live, Suede will fill the slot on the second night of the festival originally intended for Amy Winehouse.
