Man dressed as Batman hands over wanted man to police officers

A man dressed as the comic book superhero Batman was filmed handing over a wanted man at a British police station.

Stills taken from a security camera at the Trafalgar House Police Station, in the West Yorkshire town of Bradford, show the "Dark Knight" bringing in the 27-year-old suspect in the early hours of 25 February.

A police spokesman said "the person who brought the wanted man into the station was dressed in a full Batman outfit" - adding that "his identity, however, remains unknown".

Police said the suspect was subsequently charged with handling stolen goods and fraud-related offences, and will appear before a magistrates court on 8 March.
