Alleged ETA member turns himself in to French police

Javier Atristain appeared in court Tuesday in southwestern Pau after a European arrest warrant was issued for him by his native Spain.
French officials say alleged member of armed Basque armed group ETA Javier Atristain Gorosabel appeared in court after turning himself in to authorities over the weekend.
A hearing on the warrant has been set for March 16. Police say the 39-year-old turned himself in Saturday to French police in Biarritz. Spanish authorities have sought him after arresting another ETA suspect on Feb. 13.
